Funding of the Institute comes primarily in the form of grant-in-aid from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has been fostering the Institutions goals and growth. The other pillars of strength are the Rotary Club of Trivandrum, Inner Wheel Club of Trivandrum and the corporate sector ,who are all donors that have contributed in a significant way. Add to this, the generous contribution from the people of Kerala.

 
A great patron of the Institution is His Highness, the Maharaja of Travancore and the members of the Royal Family in Trivandrum, who laid the foundation for the Institution.

 
The Rotarian who at at the helm of affairs at this Institution for a number of years until 30.6.02 was our member Late Rtn. Augustine Mathew Kayyalackakom, better known as “Mathan”.

 
The Institution welcomes visitors who can gain interesting experiences from here. We have many distinguished personalities from NIMH, Rotary Clubs in Kerala, India and Abroad, oficials from social welfare societies, ministry etc. visiting the Institute. Research scholars and post-graduate students from all over the country foreign countries like Germany, Scottland, Ireland, Netherlands, New York, Australia, etc. have also visited the Institution.

 
Many have been impressed by the activities of the Institution and the performance of the students. A 25 minute television documentary was made on our Institution by Kairali, The Malayalam television channel.
